Conversations (If I Were You)
The two artists Kari Aasen and Kiyoshi Yamamoto aim to challenge each other through dialogue and conversations when engaging with each other's art.
To achieve this, they seek to maintain close dialogue throughout the entire process, from the production of art to its presentation and communication to the public.
Colors are one of their common denominators, especially in works that are repeated in series, where the two artists find a common ground. They work concretely with interventions in clay and textiles, unified in a series of works with impressions that merge different geographical origins, techniques, and themes.
